Einstein Bagels, a fast-casual food chain in Chicago, is expanding in the U.S. It plans to open two locations in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood in late 2018 and in Columbus Circle in 2019.
The company’s founders, Steve and Krista Einstein, have been trying to make the bagels more appealing to a broader demographic in the country.
A big part of their success is their bagel-making technology, which uses high-quality flour to make a dense dough that is more dense than a bagel.
The team has made several other products for Einstein, including their bagels, ice cream and other products, including bagels made with a mix of eggs and bread.
Einstein opened a restaurant in Chicago in 2016, and it has expanded into the Lincoln Park and Columbus Circle neighborhoods.
