“The idea that a product should be called a meal is just a bit of a stretch.
We are a company that’s not a meal,” said McDonald’s spokesperson Robyn Cogswell in a statement.
“Our goal is to make every customer experience as simple and delicious as possible.”
While the menu is still being tweaked, McDonald’s is trying to change the way people think about its products.
The company said the new menu will also include more options for breakfast, and a new breakfast option for those with small children.
The menu will launch at McDonald’s restaurants nationwide on July 14.
