How Dave Matthews Band will reinvent themselves after its biggest year ever

The biggest music event of the year is right around the corner.

It will be a week that has been talked about for months and will surely be discussed at the most intimate of gatherings, a concert in your backyard, or at your house.

The new Dave Matthews & Austin tour, which starts Friday, March 19, kicks off with a concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The tour will take the band to Las Vegas, Phoenix, New Orleans, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, Nashville, Seattle, and Washington, D.C. Fans can tune into the three concerts on ESPN3 starting at 6 p.m.

They’ll then head to a handful of other cities for two shows in Los Angeles on March 23 and then head back to New York for a show on March 24.

Those shows are being headlined by Dave’s own band, which will take on fellow hometown heroes, Pearl Jam.

Tickets for those shows go on sale Friday at 10 a.m., and they will be available through Ticketmaster, Live Nation, and Ticketmaster’s online platform.

Tickets will be on sale in select locations throughout the country.
