‘Krispy Kreme’ opens in Washington D.C.

Krispy Kremes is opening its second location in the District, the chain announced Thursday.

The store, located at 2125 8th St., will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and the chain’s menu will include breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The chain, founded in 1974, offers breakfast, lunches, dinner and breakfast sandwiches.

Krispys D.c. location, where it will be opening in 2018, is one of four in the nation to be open by 2020, along with Chipotle Mexican Grill in San Francisco, Denny’s in Seattle and Taco Bell in Dallas. Krispy Krêpes has locations in Los Angeles, Seattle and Portland.
